In Fine Feather

A wild male Black Grouse during the lekking season, taken in the rain at dawn, near Aviemore, Scottish Highlands. This image shows the distinctive lyre-shaped tail display plumage, giving this rare gamebird its Latin name of Lyrurus tetrix.
