Taking a Breather

By teocali
This rather handsome male Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major) was taking a breather after a prolonged attack on a rotten log, in his search for grubs and goodies. This is a full frame capture taken in our garden yesterday evening.

My thanks to Ron (Maiwand) for the User Award and to everybody for their C&Cs - always much appreciated and valued Smile
