Western Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus)

A wild Capercaillie, also known as wood grouse, heather **** or just capercaillie, taken in The Cairngorms National Park a while ago. Apparently they can weigh up to 7.2kgs and can be quite aggressive, so the long lens was particularly reassuring.
