What are you up to down there?

By teocali
A full frame capture of a juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major) taken in our garden a few months ago. This youngster had in fact just knocked it's sibling off the perch, but I was too close to record the whole of the action Sad The unfortunate loser was hanging around on the ground below the perch, prompting the victor's aggressive pose.

My thanks to you all for your support of my Barn Owl upload, with a special thank you to Christine(christinecilia), Trevor(Trev_B), Lillian (Lillian), Richard (richmowil), Steve(sparrowhawk) and Mike(greyheron) for their user awards. All very much appreciated and valued Smile
