Battle fireworks

Battle fireworksI cant really add anything to what Emma has already said, other than instead of a square crop make it slighly portrait, and also intensify the saturation a little to really bring out the colours. Only slightly tho, as it soon becomes obvious if you over do it.

"Give Me Life"

"Give Me Life"its a reasonable image, I think the tree is a little central and could possibly the composition could be improved with the tree either to the right/left of the image. I like the idea of the rainbow, but personally I think it has failed as an image due to this, mainly due to the colours being in the wrong order leading to an unatural feel to the shot.

Howdena lovely image, just feel like the colours are all a little muted, the image would benefit from some work in ps to really emphasize the colours and reflections. Possibly colour dodge the foreground too as its a little dark. Overall tho a nicely composed image.

On Deal Beach

On Deal Beacha nicely composed image, would be improved with a little ps work. Possibly try to bring out the sky with a graduated layer over the sky, then colour dodge some of the boats details.

Serenesome lovely colours in a beautiful sky,
I would agree with CathR, the tree is overwhelming within this image, and I think a different view point whilst taking the image may have helped, at this stage the image may be improved by cropping part of the tree out of the image.

I'm at work so only have MS Paint to alter the image Sad but I've uploaded a quick modification to give an idea of the route I'd take with this image. Its not a great mod, but give an idea Smile

Red River Rocks

Red River Rockstruly impressive image, nicely composed, love the crispness of colour, crystal clear water with hints of reflections and the light hitting the side of the mountain. Only slight critism would be that the clouds at the top of the image appear a little dark and almost flat compared to the rest of the image. Well worth an upload tho, and will serve as inspiration for myself if I ever manage to venture out with my camera again Smile

martin mere

martin merenicely composed image, lovely reflections in the water. Only problem is that the sky is very burnt out. This could be avoided through the use of a filter i.e. UV + Grey Grad, or you could take a series of images with exposures that suit the sky, and some which suit the foreground, and splice them together using photoshop.
