Harrier Flight

By TerryMcK
I see Marsh Harriers every time I visit my local nature reserve but trying to capture this magnificent bird in flight is not easy. This is one of my best attempts to date.

Thank you for your interest in my previous upload, "Snail Pace," which is proving to be a bit of a slow mover reaching even RC status...

Stunning. Beautifully lit.
They really are one of the hardest birds to capture - I would love to get a shot like this. I will have to keep on trying. Nice one!

Way above any in flight I have managed, as for the snail being slow, no pun intended, there are a lot of folk away which will make a difference. - gary

Hope you are keeping OK mate

At least you nailed oneTongue

If this isn't full frame, then a slightly reduced crop might have helped the detail more

Thanks, Adrian. Virtually a full frame, hence the close RH edge which left me with little room for an alternative crop.
Terry
A very good in flight capture and yes not easy to get right as I have experienced myself on many occasions and I remember the afternoon well. Promised you a Bittern!
Well done all round.

An excellent inflight capture Terry, I reckon the snail didn't do that well as too many epzers' were too shy and wouldn't come out of their shell to vote!Wink
