It's not often that Redshanks appear at my local NR but four dropped in this morning, treating me and friend, Scott (EASTFIELD) to an amazing couple of hours while they chased each other around the Mere. Their haunting fluting calls are a delight to hear. Hopefully, they might decide to stay for awhile.
