Billy Don't be a Hero

As we were walking down a mountain in the Lake District we looked up and it appeared that this sheep (which appeared from nowhere) was about to end it all. Which of course this was not the case, we watched it for quite a while as it grazed at the top of this mountain. It is fascinating how they nonchalantly chomp away through the menu without a seconds thought for the people down below who believe death for the sheep is inevitable. Never mind, hold back the mint sauce a bit longer.

Your shots ARE half (in fact, full!) decent - this is very well captured - love the brave little fellow (or lady!) against that blue sky. The texture in the rocks is great, as is the purple heather to the right hand side. A lovely shot!

The terrain looks more suited to the sure footed mountain goat than a little lamb. The title brought a smile too.
