Kewstoke Pier

15 second exposure of the derelict Kewstoke Pier near Weston-Super-Mare.Using a B+W 10 stop filter.
Version 2 is a 4 second exposure. Unfortunately being in Sand Bay and the water being brown, the long exposure makes it look like sand.

Lovely image of kewstoke ,good effects from the 10 stop on the sky and sea Wink.I last visited Kewstoke in the 80's and it was such a beautiful pier then ,it even had a guy who would give you a lift to the end on a little motorised train.

Splendid, arresting images. I can see why V2 has more impact, but I think V1 works better for me. The fact the water does look like sand adds to the surreal feeling-- it really works!
