I also like the shot without the Flood. The graininess works well until you get to the reflection. The problem with Flood is that when you've seen it once you always know it when you see it again. Love the negative space given by the composition and love the regression of the figures leading towards the plane. I don't buy photo mags anymore so I don't know what ideas you've borrowed but well done anyway.

Like the semi-abstract composition of this. Nice crop. Love the four windows under the calligraphy. Can't decide whether the tyre and exhaust vent are too black, because the B&W contrast in the rest of the picture is perfect.

I don't give clicks for tits. So this one's for a beautiful photo.

Lloydee breaks the rules of composition very successfuly judging by his portfolio, but it looks here that you were after a more traditional portrait shot, which only falls short for me because you needed the left hand and elbow in shot.

BEDAWIN BOY by andylucy

Very difficult spur of the moment shot of a moving subject and the focus is good. But it would have also ben diffficult to get the subject in the right place in the frame. I'm not convinced that the boy is framed appealingly here.Panning down may have helped, but now cropping a bit from the top would do it a bit more justice.Difficult to get the exposure right here too. The face is in shadow, while parts of his clothes seem slightly overexposed. Fill in flash could have worked, but under the circumstances, well done.

I would like to have seen something in the foreground to take the eye into the photograph; there may have been something to the right of this picture? It seems like a sunny day,and I feel that you could achieve something that lends more to the sense of the drama of the place with a cloudy sky. Nice triangular shape, leads the eye around the photograph, though there is nowhere for the eye to rest (no point of interest) really, except the lake itself which itself is quite empty. I think it would also help to have something in the photo which adds to the sense of scale. A fellow walker perhaps. I think this would be a very difficult place to photograph and dangerous too.

Would you buy fish off this man? great capture.

Really sensitive shot. I get drawn in, searching for her story.

The composition isn't too bad. We don't need to see the tail and the eye follows nicely from left to right in a pleasing diagonal. Technically, there is room for improvement. The colour of the lighting in the tank doesn't help. You might experiment with the white balance functions, if your camera has them. Focus needs to be pin sharp on a close up and if it's an animal, the eyes usually need to be sharp because that is the natural place for us to be drawn to. Cut out the reflections in the glass by draping a blanket over the tank and get the camera under there with it.
