trying out Lightrooms processing capabilities on some images form a recent shoot at Shoeburyness.

after getting loads of dark prints I've dropped the brightness on my LCD, let me know if it's too dark/bright on your monitors, cheers Smile

Great image.
The brightness is perfect on my monitor. I have Huey calibrator.

Hope this helps, but superb shot.

Looks fine on my monitor, also Huey Pro calibrated. You have to make sure your printer takes its instruction from Lightroom and doesn't add its own adjustments. This can sometimes be trickier than it sounds depending on your printer.

Inspired and highly creative, Kevin. A real delight. Hope all's well with you and that you had a good break. Congrats on Essex Life, by the way.

thanks folks for all the comments, I realise that my LCD screen was over cooking the images, consequently what I was printing and posting was on the dark side, freaking colour management don't you just love it!!!! Wink
Well spotted and well taken Kev. Plenty of drama in the sky Smile

Looks finre to me - clever use of the bench to fill an otherwise too bright area.
