The brightness is perfect on my monitor. I have Huey calibrator.

Looks fine on my monitor, also Huey Pro calibrated. You have to make sure your printer takes its instruction from Lightroom and doesn't add its own adjustments. This can sometimes be trickier than it sounds depending on your printer.

thanks folks for all the comments, I realise that my LCD screen was over cooking the images, consequently what I was printing and posting was on the dark side, freaking colour management don't you just love it!!!! Wink

Looks finre to me - clever use of the bench to fill an otherwise too bright area.
