Sugar coated dawn

By ThomasGorman
A pre-dawn glow starts to decend over Loch-Nah-Achlaise on a very cold and frosty December's morning. I had to brave a temperature of minus sixteen celsius but boy was it worth the effort. There are few days as rare and beautiful as this one and I was thrilled to have experienced it.

A wonderful shot. The featureless expanse of fg snow / ice , somehow mirrors the pastel featureless sky while sandwiched in the middle is that glorious scene.

Marvelous early morning light on the Lochan Thomas, a magical moment on Rannoch Moor.
