1st Century

By tigertimb
My 100th upload not including variants, so a quick break from the wedding photos to pick one of my hundreds of tiger shots Smile

Shot at West Midlands Safari Park, a few weeks ago which I'd thoroughly recommend. I particularly liked this with the sun on the grass behind.

300mm handheld from the car, iso 200, f4.5, 1/320 sec

Much better viewed large is you have the time, all comments and criticisms very welcome

Tim Smile

Thankyou to everyone who have been commenting on the wedding shots and giving me suggestions and helping me to improve - much appreciated Grin

Nice shot, but you need to get to the Indian safari parks to capture the magic and light. More difficult to shoot but you will never forget the thrill of the tiger in the wild!
Go for it!

Thankyou everyone for the comments.
A safari and seeing them in the wild would certainly be wonderful and a lifelong ambition, but in the meantime I really appreciate being able to see them at all and knowing that local zoos are doing their best for conservation too.
