Just married

By tigertimb
Hopefully a little more sophisticated than yesterday's shot; but fairly experimental and I'd love to know people's response as to whether it works?

I took this just after the vows had taken place deliberately focusing on the body language.
#2 is the version before I removed the best man and applied a fairly strong vignette and #3 is a different shot to show a bit more context.

ISO 200, 120mm, f4.5, 1/20 sec - antishake, but I should still probably have doubled the ISO to give the handheld shots a higher chance

Version 2 - the minor amendments make this intensely personal, symbolic rather than pictorial.

My view, for what it's worth is that version 1 works really well. I like the crop - and the light is terrific

All 3 work but I especially love the expression in #3.

I have just seen the professional's pictures from my sister-in-laws wedding. These are much better

V1 and V2 both work for me, in different ways. V1 is more intimate, concentrates attention better on the linked hands. V2 has more sense of place, the 'bigger picture'. Excellent shot, either way.

I like it, I would allow about half inch more below the hands.

Really like this, especially v1 - I'm going to a wedding next week and even though they have a photographer want me to take some shots, I'll take note of what you have done!

All beautiful!
V1 is fantastic, great body language, you've captured a really special moment.
Would love to see V3 with the same treatment you gave V2, Those shared looks are treasure... Smile
