B&W works way better for me

Very nice, the eyes really stand out and I like the hint of a smile

Is this your first RC, - well done, - its a nice shot.

I will upload a mod or two because I like working on nice shots like this!

Hi Willie, it's my first RC for a portrait... must be doing something right now... I've learnt so much in the last months.. hope it's starting to show... Wink I haven't been photographing portraits that long, not so long ago I would only photograph wildlife... and travel pics occasionally... how things are changing now!! Smile Really pleased so many people like this one, and the mods are great - they give me some ideas for my next upload... I have a few more of Kitty to come but I'm having a hard time choosing which ones! Wink

Beautiful girl expertly captured, and I agree with you, the mono works best!

Hard to say which version I prefer but I think the colour one just edges it. I do like the mono one but I think the colour one is more natural looking. Very well done in both cases though, especially the catchlights in the eyes.
