Like the depth of field and slow shutter speed effect for the water. Wonder if it is possible to lighten the cliff on the right as too dark for me. Like the colour of the sky but there seems to be a step on the horizon. Overall like it, Clicked, Martin

Thanks for the comment (and the click!). The picture was taken by Andrew Fyfe of this parish. His original can be seen here. As for the "step", I hadn't noticed it - its there on the original though - my guess would be that its some distant land.

I've had a go at this one as well, although I e-mailed it direct to Andrew. The 'step' is indeed a piece of land, Porthcawl, about five miles away. BTW I darkened both the sky and the cliff face. Different people, different tastes, that's what makes life interesting.

the sky looks false, too pink, but the rest of the scene i really like.

I like the colours in the sky, and the channel entering from the bottom of the frame. Nicely done.
