I think the post intensifies the loneliness of the landscape - teriffic image.
You know I'm a fan Pat, and I don't know if you will read my comment , but for me the pole doesn't need to be there. I find it detracts my eye from that wonderful sky. I think I like the solitude of the image without the pole (but that's just me of course).
