Portrait: Sally

By timiano
Picture of my wife Sally, after a night out celebrating her 32nd Birthday.

I'd left my pocket camera in my friend's car the week earlier, and she was disappointed she didn't have any pics in her new dress that I'd bought for her birthday.

So when we got back; although fairly intoxicated; I got the 5D, 24-70 and 580EX setup, and took a few pictures in the hall way.

Yeh, the painting behind her head could have done with taking down, but I was working quick before she passed out - and she did!

Picture benefitted from the B+W treatment quite a bit, as it took the emphasis away from being in someone's hall way, and on the pretty subject.

ISO 200, 1/60, f2.8, 70mm, 580EX bounced off the ceiling.

Nice shot Tim, considering the 'difficult' working conditions.

Oh boy are you in trouble when she sees that you told everyone how much she enjoyed herself
