Nice shot. Its full of detail. However you might want to try and adjust the shadows in some editing software to get rid of that hard shadow on its face.

For me i think this is either cropped to tight or zoomed in to much with camera which has resorted into chopping the robins tail off. It needs more space. Also its a shame about the shadows causing you not to be able to see the head and eye very good but that was out of your control so to speak. But the crop or zoom factor was. Maybe some PS work would help with the shadows in Highlights/Shadows adjustments

Thank you for the comments. I was very close and this is how the image was captured with no cropping. One of the reason I like this picture is the shadow and feather detail which was achieved because I was able to get close to the subject. Your comments are all valid though and gratefully received.
