IMHO I think that these pics would be better submitted separately, not because I don't like them together, but because now the sizing is kept smaller on ephotozine I think you have lost some of the impact of this beautiful woman. The colours you have used make Mavis look like a film star from the 40's, spot on Matt!

Kewl it Marie . You make me blush . I don't think Matt could put these pics on separately as it wasn't his photo in the first place . He was just showing us how he could scan ,touch up, and colour old pics so we could make comparisons . He has done an excellent job of colouring dont you think ?

An excellent way of presenting the portrait of Mavis. It shows wll the contrast of monochrome as they used to be and the colour of the present day. In the early days of photography your pictures would be produced as stereo pairs and printed like this

Thanks all critiques, I think picperfic is right as this has lost a lot in compression but I wanted the before and after effect
