Day 2 of being Guest Editor. When I volunteered I was expecting this to be a quiet week at work. Instead I find I am traveling and am currently in Ohio. Nonetheless, a commitment is a commitment.
So, last time I did this I had quite a few rules. This time I am going simple. I will look at every photo uploaded in the enlarged view, I will not rely on the thumbnails. I will consider those outside my normal likes. I will not look at the photographers name in order to avoid bias towards those I already follow. And I will comment on those I award.

This is not a normal picture for me. The subject matter itself and the high key lighting are not my usual area. But I stopped. And I looked. And I was really very attracted to this. If I am to be completely honest I can’t quite decide about the red material on the left, it adds contrast but I a, not sure whether it is too much. However I am so taken by the models pose and the lighting that I can overlook that and overall I love it.
