Well, it seems that things are progressing quite well at The CoppiceSmile
I went over this morning for a short while, mainly to top the feeders up.
Just as well I did, because something had pulled the bottom off the main Sunflower feeder and all of the seed was on the floor. Might have been an inquisitive badger. Anyway all feeders lifted out of harms way for the week.
Apart from popping over mid week (probably by torchlight) I won't be out with the camera again until the weekendSad
The Chaffinches were there in force, so it appears they have overcome their initial nervousness.
One very brief visitor was a GSW, so that is something to look forward to in the future.
The light was abysmal, but I couldn't resist setting the camera up for an hour.
Glad I did or I might not have nailed a Willow titWink
I had to call it a day when I couldn't feel my fingers any more.
I don't mind Winter at all, but this damn horrible weather is dragging on to long for meSad

We have had a full season of it now.
It wants to clear off and let Springtime arrive, together with some warmer weather

Thankyou for reading

Spent a few hours today sitting in the hide at my local reserve - as always, it was warmer outside than it was inside! However, the light was the best it had been for some weeks.
Like you, I can't wait for Spring. But there is evidence that it's on it's way at last: trees/bushes starting to bud, birds pairing up - I watched a pair of Blue Tits repeatedly inspecting a nesting box alongside the hide.
Come the Spring, the Coppice should be well established & providing you with some great photographic opportunities. And I'm looking forward to that, too. Smile
