I like the path created for the eye to wander through the tombstones to the church, Expertly exposed.

Strong use of portrait, as Anne says it leads the eye gently up from the foreground to the church.

Terriffic impact with your hallmark uncluttered comp (I guess the snow helps on this occasion too!). The FG interest is eyecatching angling out towards the viewer as it does, plus each stone is nicely separated and the church is a warm FP contrasting both the snow and sky. Luvverly! Smile

Having never seen it before, it is hard to surmise, but I would guess this is one of the best views of the place

The leaning tombstones to a point, but IMHO it is the snow that sets it all offSmile

Nature's natural reflector put to good use Clive

An excellent composition Clive, works well with that stone in the fg, the exposure for the snow is spot on! I tried to get something similar at my local church but the light was nowhere near as good as this!

Fantastic composition........
Superb image, I was thinking trading in my canon 24-105 and buying the 16-35 2.8 mk2. Now after seeing your work its definite. Great compositions.
