Fantastic. an achievement we all dream of!

at a second glance, I will probably get tarred and feathered for this remark... but:

do I see a mirror image and two shots of the same chaffy put together , one mirrored at 180?
The light and the b/g strongly suggests that.
And it is still two terrific shots.

Tarred and feathered Annette, Good Lord NO

You are to be commended for having a keen eye which is what photography is all about.

To explain further it isnt a mirror image as such

It is 2 Male Chaffinches taken in the same shoot with the same light conditions and yes the one on the right is a 180 degree flip thus the shadows and highlights mirroring each bird,

The resulting image is a very poor stitch job on my part in photoshop but both were full frame captures thus the panoramic image.

I really should have posted it as digitally manipulated so apologies to all that I didnt.

Top stuff Paul

Out of curiosity and no more, is it one image , or a couple stitched together?
Makes no difference to the outcome at allWink
