Save the World by malum
Don't ever pull on the beard of the plastic dwarf in that place; it sets the alarm system off. Apparently. ahem.- 14 Jun 2010 11:35AM

Wrapped Pigtails by cattyal
Superb series.
I prefer the tones and treatment in V1... I think V2 holds together as a better shot - my only (very minor) niggle with V1 is that the hand holding the pigtail looks to me as though it should be conveying insecurity whereas I'm not sure if the way it's being held looks a bit indifferent, almost as if it's someone on the phone. Both are brilliant shots though.

Hatfield Forest 2 by johnnyboy114
Excellent series! We rushed out to Hatfield Forest the other day just to see what it was like without planes overhead all the time..
Agree the tighter crop works well. Have attached a slightly moodier mod.

Canon ST-E2 flash ratio
Thanks Ade - that's the bit I was unsure about: if both were set to manual at full power then the 580 would be brighter. But if I used the ST-E2 with a 1:1 ratio using ET... -

How would you manage without a lens hood.
If you have a once in a lifetime shot in front of your lens but there is sunlight hitting your front lens element, you will probably have the shot spoiled by flare. W...
