A superb capture... nicely presented and well timed with the beak open....

Viewed large esp good...

Only thing i can point out is that there appears to be a bit of a yellow line around the head ??? not sure if it is just on my screen, but its visible both lrg and normal view...

Other than that a cracker x x x

A fantastic shot, great detail. I dont know whether to be annoyed or impressed by the comment about reading our essays.

So I will start with a mod that clearly shows the yellow line above the eagles head, and pray that youre impressed. This is likely caused by chromatic aberration in the lens with a yellow shift. The Tamron is not know to be a stellar performer with controlling chromatic aberrations. I can clearly see it in the normal sized version as well as the large, - so maybe your monitor is due for a calibration?

And the the piece de resistance, - the shot itself which is suberb.

I suggest in the mod that the whites can be a tad whiter, and I would crop to place the eye on a third, cropping space off the right and adding canvas to the top. I loaded this in mod2, and mod3 is the same reversed, - some people prefer the left to right "read"

Hope you enjoyed the essay,

Why your comment about the critique team? They are good, but other peoples comments are just as valid.

Excellent image, loads of impact. I have shots of a Bald Eagle and have seen them in the wild. The head feathers are white and the beak a brighter yellow. You simply need to lift the brightness a bit - I suspect a touch of under exposure.
