Graveyard Train

By Tonksfest
Hi folks , I visited Hunslet Railway Company on one of their open days, and noticed this old locomotive. I liked the abstractness and the textures in the decaying metal and flaking paintwork. Two versions of this loco. All comments welcome, Mickey.

I like the angle and detail in V1, as well as all the rust, but I think V2 works well too, in a sort of abstract way, with lots of shapes, lines and curves.

My wife loved this shot as she is a very keen steam train enthusiast and she works at the NRM, York and sees trains in this condition arrive at the Museum.

Grand shot.
