Lilstock Beach

By tony_hoops
Trip to Lilstock beach on the West Somerset coast, saw these wooden posts stuck in the beach and tried to make the most of them, to draw you into the photo.

Took some pictures closer to the sea and ended up with a wellington boot full of water!

Hope it was worth it, and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for votes and comments so far.

Really like this image, has an almost monochromatic feel to it.
Get a real feeling of desolation. The lines of stumps lead your eyes to the end of the cliff leaving you wondering what is round there.

like the bold diagonal of the pathway from the bottom left corner taking the eye into the image...The rockscape to the left leaves you thinking asbout whats beyond...Like it...Wink
Beautiful texture of the path and the cloud! Wink

A very nice pictorial scene of the place and makes you wonder why the posts were there and a good record of the conditions as they were when you took the image. Tells a story.

An interesting image. Great to see. Always think people deserve more votes but there is so much to see on the site! Gill
