  • Kelly Anne...

An attractive composition with gentle light that complements the subject. So good to have a productive morning despite the lack of sleep.

  • Honey...I am Coming

I really like the composition and colours here.
    • 14 Mar 2016 12:35AM
  • Flying Scotsman

Nicely done. I'm hoping to get out to see this on the NYMR this week.

  • Great Tit in the rain

Good light and colours. I like the wet feathers.
    • 13 Mar 2016 11:58PM
  • Bug Hunt

Nicely composed on that peeling tree bark
    • 8 Mar 2016 10:06PM
  • The poser...

Nicely done. I never did get much joy with the foxes in my time at the BWC.

Many thanks for the supportive comments.

Mike > I think I will return throughout the seasons to see how the light and scenery changes

  • Water Ark Foss

Yes, very quiet. No one else around all the time I was there.

  • mmmm......more berries

Another one, or did he come back for more? Good colour and detail.

He looks like a happy chappie. I hope the partnership works out well for both of you.

  • Eilean Donan Castle

Much prefer this expansive view - thanks for sharing

  • Enchanted Wood

Fine as it is, but I agree that a little extra mid-range brightness would lift it without spoiling the mood. The flowing water has turned out very well.

  • Swaledale Barns&Walls

Nicely seen opportunity in the bright light. I find that if I crop the top just above the nearest tree line you get a stronger composition.

  • The Flautist...

Nice series of this endearing animal. Glad to see they're still doing well at the BWC.

  • Spotted Flycatcher collecting nesting material

I can almost hear it thinking "That'll do nicely"!

  • As the World passes by

I've no idea what techniques you've used to present this image, but I really like the end result. The large version rewards closer inspection.
    • 19 Nov 2010 11:18PM
  • Descending

Great subject, although the top step is so bright your subject almost appears to be floating in mid-air.
    • 19 Nov 2010 11:11PM
  • Deep fried chocolate boxy

    Mmmm..... tasty
    • 15 Nov 2010 10:29PM
  • My best side

I've seen similar shot with robins before, but not a squirrel. Whatever next?!

  • Check the Histogram

Didn't know you could get in with them now. Looks like you had a fun day.

There's a nice glow to this

Reminds me of happy days at the BWC. That is a good-looking berry. Not bad vole either!
