Caroline.......... by shaz4

Just stunning!

Please....?? by shaz4

Great interaction between the two subjects. Works very well. Nice one.

Chatsworth Horse Trials 2010

Chatsworth Horse Trials 2010 by Neilcuthbertson

Great composition, nice to see a horse in the water rather than in the air for a change. The turning of the horse to the right gives a very dynamic pose that suggests plenty of power and energy. Truly an action shot. Well caputred.

Cracking image. Well timed and wonderfully sharp.

Volvo Amazon P4

Volvo Amazon P4 by Tonyd3

Excellent timing.
Great to see the classics still 'working' rather than sitting in mothballs. Missed the Robin Hood Forest Stages Rally this year after it was canceled due to lack of entrants. Looking forward to the Dukeries at the end of the year. If you know of any rally dates/venues in the midlands would be good to hear from you.

Great mixture of textures, patterns and geometric shapes.
Definitely a winner.

Yes he has loads of time on Tuesdays now Smile Naughty corners not the same without you.

Great image, looks like just the place for me, my dog and a good stick.

Lloyds, London

Lloyds, London by Swanvio

Good composition and colours. I don't normally like images that are processed to the point of looking like illustrations but this one is full of impact and looks superb.

sea break

sea break by BigE

Good composition and colour. Works well for me.

Poppies by cattyal

Great image, really interesting to look at. I like the colours and the composition makes it that little bit different.

raindrops on snowdrop

raindrops on snowdrop by rangerpaul

Nice snowdrop image. Get wet did you lying in the grass to take this shot? For me the best bit is the detail in the green 'pod' just behind the petals. The detail and clarity there is fantastic. The detail on the petals may be just a good but I think the darker colour just adds that something.
I have noticed what maybe a very subtle out of focus highlight on the LHS just above half way. It looks like a smear on my monitor but its on the image and it keeps drawing my eye as I hate dirty monitors.
Well worth the effort for the shot. Think I'll cheat and buy a pot of them and a garden spray for the weekend Smile

Beachcombers by piccy

V1 for me. I like the colours in the buildings and sky. I also like the movement you have captured in the second person from the left, best seen in the large version.

The day is an overcast day and the brighter image looks just a bit too bright. For me if it were really that bright there would have been shadows from the people. Unless there was something unsightly to the right of the image I'd have also liked to see the shoreline wrap around from foreground to background and provide some continuity of shoreline.

A great location with loads of potential, I'll add it to my list of sites to visit. Best done out of the summer season I suspect.

Hope the comments of interest,

Lake in Nova Scotia

Lake in Nova Scotia by Valoir

Hi Valoir,
Maybe you could let us know what it was you wanted to capture in the image, what appealed to you when you saw the initial view?
It's always a good idea to add a little about the equipment used and any settings you chose for the camera too.

There appear to be some nice colours in the foliage that brighten the image up a little. From the title, I guess the main subject is the lake but you can't really see much of it.

Upload the info and I'm sure you'll get some more advice.

Rannoch by MalcolmM

Well captured, excellent light.

Amur Leopard

Amur Leopard by rangerpaul

Great detail to this shot Paul. Well chosen 'pose' also.
Looks best large. In the smaller image I find the background and black blob on the RHS distracting. The cat is more in your face on the large version and you don't bother looking around the image so much.
Nice to hear how you get around the bar issues.

Great set of images. Love the industrial plant images, they really do stand out. I could vote for them all. Keep on Rolling is my favorite though, love the yellow against the greys.

Just added to favourites. The portraits are magnificent and inspiring. I'm just starting out in portraiture, these images show me I have a way to go yet.
Thanks for sharing.

Great pf with lots to inspire me. Don't worry about your obsession with boats, there are worse obsessions Smile. At least you get interesting photos out of them.
Thanks for sharing, Tony

What a wonderful collection of wildlife shots. You must spend a lot of time and have endless patience to get some of the shots here. Thoroughly enjoyable to view. Thanks.
