Artistic Blur

By Tony_W
I was playing around with composition and liked how the items were arranged. Not having time to set up my tripod to take the photo properly I just took a shot for future setup reference.

When I looked at the image on my screen I found I liked the soft effect of the blur, almost like an art effect filter.

All comments appreciated but those on composition especially so.

Having a red/yellow brush may improve the overall balance. It is most definitely an artisic interpreation, and perhaps a softer, slighter blur may would also give it a differnt look and feel. Mike

I find this appealing....rather impressionistic. The composition and colors seem to be thoughtfully constructed with five tubes and three brushes. I find it to be creative and inspiring.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Michael/Glen, would the red/yellow brush be instead of or as well as the blue one? Is the imbalance in the fact that there is too much blue? If so what do you think about changing the blue paint tube? (I have more paint colours than brush colours.)
