Second image taken during my recent visit to The Lakes.

Although the weather was not perfect, I was working on improving my composition. I think the bridge and foreground help lead your eye into the shot just where the building peaks from between the trees. The mountain contours also lead your eye back down to the building.

Exposure: 1/180th @ f6.3 ISO 100

You're right the bridge and left-hand wall are doing their job well. Nice shot.

Composition works well. Maybe a small curve tweak would just add a little more punch though, still a nice shot though.

Thanks to everyone for their votes and comments.

Paul, I can see what you mean thanks to the mod you posted. I don't have curves in PSE4 so can't try out your suggestion for myself at the moment. I do have Capture One LE but its too confusing. Maybe I'll have to look for tutorials and give it a go.

Cheers Tony, C1LE can be a little confusing, but go to www.northscape.co.uk and have a look at the tutorials posted there for RAW processing ... might help you.
