You don't see many of these... these days.

By tony64
Another from Portobello Road Antique Market, Notting Hill Gate, London.

There are many outdoor stalls along the roadside, selling all manor of unusual and rare collectibles, oddities, memorabillia and miscellaneous paraphanalia (old dusty stuff, bric-a-brac etc).

Here a prospective buyer tries to barter the price of a 'Holy Grail'.

Thanks for looking as always,

Tony

Big business in action - great image and there are two older gentlemen this time. My luck is in! Wonderful candid.

Leather suitcases (feel them, smell them) and the Mad Hatter's hat. Lovely slice of life neatly cut and framed.

"Any old iron? Any old iron?
Any, any, any old iron?
You look neat. Talk about a treat!
You look dapper from your napper to your feet.
Dressed in style, brand-new tile,
And your father's old green tie on.
But I wouldn't give you tuppence for your old watch chain,
Old iron, old iron."

Sorry, couldn't help it!
Bill
