I think there's a lot of processing gone on here, and it's probably a composite image.

It all meshes nicely, and it works well: a bit like a film set. I'm waiting for something to happen. Maybe something rather nasty, to be honest...

So maybe we need a resolution in a second (or subsequent) post...

It must have taken a fair bit of time to combine 20 images into this scene. Well done.

I really like this image. It has an air of fantasy, like an uneasy dream, with the dereliction and the passage leading away. What is the subject thinking? A very creative piece of work. Allan

I like this image, the colour pallet works well with the monotone passage way. I am not sure if it is a composite image as there looks to be a swept place for the model to stand. but when I look at the model's left shoulder the processing looks like it requires a touch more attention.

Whatever I like the composition and light.

Nice one.

thanks Gavin, it is a full composite image using 20 images in total, i do seen what you are saying on the shoulder i must have just missed a bit!!!!
The swept bit is the normal ground she is standing on the rubbish is added in too....
Thanks for your UA too and also to Minty805 both are very much appreciated

OK here goes

Image one is of the girl, you have seen here in my portfolio in Midnight caller, New clothing / sack added.
Image two is Denbigh Mental hospital well some parts are.
Image three is the cobble stones from the black country museum nr Wolverhampton/Dudley there are several other parts added from the BCM to in the image to make this up.

Image four the Door is from the BCM again from the old school house.
Image five is the wall behind the girl is from Belgium from a derelict building
Image six is a wall on the left before the door from Belgium on an old Railway station
Image severn is also as above but behind the door
Image Eight is the dusty part of the floor
Image nine is news papers and rubbish also in Denbigh
Image ten is textured on the wall behind the model

All the rest are textures and colour / light modifyers to assemble it together.

Hope this is enough to explain how it went together.

Cheers
Tony

You shouldn't have mentioned all the images - now I'm looking for the joins! About half way down the cobbled corridor there looks to be a bit of ghosting on either side, and the end of the corridor seems to become a bit blurry, like a misty mirror. But I'm being overly critical - the overall feel and mood are very good.

I shall refrain from looking for the joins - it is, simply, a wonderful image, and it doesn't matter, in most senses, how it was done. Clearly, you are very well-versed in combining images: something I'd never attempt!

Mind you, given the complexity of the lighting, it would be an equally impressive technical feat to shoot it as a single miage...

By the way - have an award... Stunning end result.

Though I'd love to be there while you recreate this at the BCM as a single shot.

Thanks a lot John , unfortunately most of the background is Denbigh as the cobbles are outside over the bridge outside of the pub...
