Hello. I hope you enjoy my Gallery.
My main interests are flowers and plants, natural history and travel but would not pass up any photographic opportunity.
Hi Tony - I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at your portfolio. I particularly liked the nesting Kittiwakes and have voted for it. Will be returning for another look when I have a little more time.

Hi Tony,
Thank you for your kind comments on my PF. Because of family health problems and bad weather recently, I have done very little photography so I am re-visiting some of my slides and scanning them.
The scanner I use is the Epson Perfection V370 flatbed scanner which has a slide holder. A pal of mine bought one of the little Box-like scanners and the results were awful so I chose this one and am delighted with the results. It cost about £80 several years ago.
Regards,
Tony

I really like this portfolio, especially the insect close-ups. Interesting that you are using colour reversal film and then digitising the resulting slides. It would be interesting to know what scanner you use - it is obviously capable of superb results.

Hi Nigel,
Thank you for your kind comments. I do very occasionally use stacking but all nearly all my flower images are straight shots using my Pentax macro 100mm at f22 or f27.
It is an excellent lens and allows me great dof. I do, of course, use a tripod and remote release.
Thanks again.
Tony

Hello Tony, My wife and I with two friends spent many hours looking for Lynx in the sierra morena area near Andujar Andalucia, sadly with no luck.
Although on private land there are clearly many problems trying to save this creature as
another rabbit disease has delt a heavy blow along with
beauracratic ego's.Idid mange one about 4 years ago in this area but sadly the population has dwindled since then
I've tried coto Donna but find it even harder there.Hope you get to see one soon!
Thank you for kind comments on my pictures i do appreciate them.
I'm still struggling to navigate correctly on this site but I'm sure it will come eventually......Robin.

Hi Tony just had a look at your latest images to-p of the bill as usual, some dragonflies starting to appear in front of Cyril Gibbons. Cheers Ted. :D:D
