Beautiful shot TG. When I got my camera last year a heron in my local park was my subject but never managed one in flight, well envious.

Tony I have been trying myself to get one of these Heron's .They are so hard to get a real good shot of even standing.I have been chasing one for months I take the pictures and when I get home to really get a good look at them . Their just no good so I am happy for you and this one is very nice. Good job!

I can't say I have ever had the joy of chasing Herons; personally, struggle with stationary ducks. However, I really do think this is a cracker!!!! You are pushing my boundaries almost out of site.

Awesome capture Tony!! I tried to get a shot of the herons up in Tobermory.... but wasn't lucky enough to get one in flight like this!
