Red Eye the curious

By tonyguitar
The sea birds know me at Lafarge on Comox bay B.C. Now I suspect that Red Eye does also. No other seal has come in so close and watched while I flicked treats to the
gulls and mergansers.

A strange eye indeed Tony !!
Interesting shot.
Mick.
Lovely shot.

Strange about his eye. There is a hole in side of his head - don't know if its meant to be there or is some sort of injury contributing to the eye. Poor wee thing.

They are lovely animals and very inquisitive GrinGrinGrin

The hole is normal hearing while the eye has been injured. There is so much free
fish around that even with one eye he will prosper. Thanks for your click and comment. TG

Turns out this is not a he but in fact a she and a mom to boot. She has been
sunning on a log with her cub half a mile down the beach behind Portugese Joe's fish market. See recent images in my PF. Thank you for looking and clicks. TG
PS: The cub has huge eyes.
