A quick view of Tooma's recent activity.

Quote:The big question must surely be how good are they at making a proper brew of lifes elixir, the tea.Smile

Dave, Bertie, Sycophant, Fan#12, etc. etc.

Can they make a cup of tea, you ask? Why only the most fantastic cup of tea you will ever have tasted! Here at L.A.I.R. we were fortunate enough to secure the services of Ireland's foremost tea making specialist - The highly sought after and most elusive, number one tea preparation genius - Mrs Doyle of Craggy Island!

We worked intensively with Mrs Doyle on our "Refreshments and Nibbles" programming, and her expertise was invaluable and unmatched in the fields of
Water collecting - Straight from the tap, or from a water filtration device?
The perennially thorny issue of "Tea bag - or loose leaf? When is it acceptable to dunk a bag?"
Milk in first? (NO!) OR the correct way - a gorgeous splash of milk to finish?
Sandwich preparation and stacking - is your sandwich pyramid high enough to entice?
Triangles or squares? Are your bosses middle munchers or corner chewers?
Then lastly - How to assess the perfect moment to circle the room with a plate of Ferrero Rocher? (Specialist pyramid training was provided for this most tricky of presentation assemblies).

So, Dalloway, as you can see, you have nothing to fret about in terms of your mid morning cuppa. All the Workdroid models will have the "Go On, Go On, Go On" programming installed, ensuring the perfect brew is served every time.

Quote:The splendid Tooma triple whammy; great image, great title superb commentary.
I'm intrigued by the 'voice command' option - I mean, I talk to the trees but they don't listen to me.
(Sometime ago I inadvertently activated 'Siri' and it started babbling on - as it does. "Oh bog off!" * I fulminated**
"What did I do wrong?" it responded - pathetically! Ye gods - that it should come to this!!!
    * I think my exclamation may have been a tad more robust and fruity. BlushBlushBlush
    ** It's ok I've been trained and I've got a licence!

You are a luvverly lad our kid. Thank you for ur much appreciated UA. Yes, I can give some voice commands to my Handi - apparently German folks call their cell-phones that, which I like - "Mein Handi". It is supposed to take a pic when I say, "Cheese!", but it is contrary, apparently choosing to ignore me at times, so I had decided to try several other words and discovered it reacts to "Whisky!" too. It may be something to do with me covering one, or more of its three mikes when I try to use the camera - yes, 3 mikes, amazing - I think it is just contrary though, or does it for the attention, the little diva.
I hope you don't fulminate in public; you can get arrested in these here parts for that - it's reckoned to be almost as bad as possibly maybe perhaps, and possibly maybe you could be, causing offence to somebody somewhere in the county, or the country, or somewhere on planet Earth. Can I borrow Jeeves to keep me right, please, or does our Dave Twoosy Bloos have him the noo.

  • Curiouser and Curiouser!

Quote:Needless to say, excellent picture, brilliant text, great imagination! Grin

Sadly for me (great for everyone else Grin) no time to add nonsensical drivel. Sad

Fan #12, Bluesandtwos, Bertie or Dave ( please select any one from four) Grin

Dear Davenport, please be assured that even the merest of comments from your fine self is more than sufficient drivel for us. We do so cherish your preposterous balderdash, Darnley. You shall ever remain our crony of claptrap. By the by - did you ever find your Gloria Hunniford Patented Self Digging Trowel? Was it indeed behind the Sunnyside Shelter For Hopeless Sycophants?

Great pic and delightful banterry narrative as usual, but never mundane, you twit, sorry, witty blether that you are. Hey, I have Buccaneer pics somewhere too, though not as good an example as this one, which looks pristine.
I remember reading, or viewing a video, about a business man who bought himself a Buccaneer - must try to find info on that.

  • Face off

It is still to my mind, the most menacing looking aircraft ever built, DaveRyder has some cracking shots of one too. Super pic our kid; I likes it a lot. Still to see one in the flesh. Reminds me I have a couple of Vulcan shots I could seek out. Smile

  • You have a very fine and satisfying PF here, Ade. So many great shots. It is also good to see how your first page compares with your current page, seeing how all your skills have developed. No, not seen everything yet, but I'll be back.
