And So.... To Bed.

By Tooma
Monday is round again, so it is time for:-

ONE FROM MO
More from the bears, who are all feeling sleepy after being busy all day with their Christmas preparations - tired and contented.

Why, thank you, dear boy. We wish you both a most marvellous and merry Christmas time, and hope that Gwendoline has finally conquered her phobias of party hats and those tiny black plastic moustaches that always come flying out of Christmas crackers. Please remind her, Cyril dear, that the party hat salesman with the handlebar moustache, that held her hostage in that Allied Carpets hot air balloon for those nightmarish two weeks, is still in that jail in Bombay. I realise that the memories are vivid and that she still cannot look at Richard Branson without vomiting (actually we both suffer from that affliction) but Christmas would not be complete without having to constantly adjust a brightly coloured paper crown on top of your head, while struggling to see your dinner plate with tears streaming down your cheeks as the plastic moustache pinches the tender part between your nostrils in a vice like grip and your elderly relatives tell you how much you resemble Great Uncle Augustine (who won several awards for his fabulous moustache before finally succumbing to the extremely rare and deadly Himalayan Moustache Blight).

In all seriousness though, Graham, I really do appreciate your kind comments, votes and support for my photographs that Tom has been posting. Thank you for all the feedback and also for the laughs.

Best wishes,

Maureen.

Maureen, I'm very sorry to have been so tardy in catching up with your fabulous narrative and comment. Clearly I have been hopelessly inefficient; all those hours in the shed are taking their toll!
Wishing you both all the best! Take care, Graham. SmileSmileSmile
