Skull and Stuff by cattyal

Super work Alison.

Haven't looked at your work for while. Very impressed. A lot of thought goes into them.

Nice dog and expression. Smile

Nice shot. I love old buildings. I bet this can tell a few stories. Mono works for the shot too.

Bolt Beautiful of color

Bolt Beautiful of color by iMation

Hi Stu.

The above is right. I would also consider two other options. The first would have been (before shooting) removing the hair that is on the bolt as it is a little distracting. The other is white balance, the shot has a green/purple cast. If you look at your screen before shooting and alter the white balance in the menu you will see in real time the difference white balance adjustment can do. You can of course alter it afterwards in Photoshop CS or Elements by goint to >Colour>Remove colour cast.

Hope this helps, and by the way a well spotted subject. Keep snapping.

It must have been terrible for them, many of them young. A good shot and reminder.

Sadhu by EllieEdge

A really good portrait that deserves more votes and goes to prove that good shots are not getting the merit they deserve.

Simon by CathyT

Well worth the Awards Cathy, well done. A very well executed portrait.

Cheeko by JacquelineBrown

Lovely eyes.

Thanks for your comment on my dog portrait. I had to look at your portfolio and this is a great capture. Both versions are good.

Castle Howard is a stunning place. I don't live that far away and have only been to the garden center. Lovely set of shots Rob.

You obviously love animals Anne, a nice PF. I have never been able to shoot a KInfisher, they are so fast. I saw o lot recently in South west France but never here in Britian.
