This had to be an old photo!

What a legend, I don't care what anyone says this man has to be the greatest musical entertainer that has ever performed on any stage. Robbie Williams gets compared to him, why?!! Freddie is very sadly missed and the music scene is not quite the same without him!

I believe Queen stopped touring in 1986 (correct me if I'm wrong) so you were really lucky to get this shot, he probably already had aids (or HIV) when this was taken.

A very poigniant shot of an amazing performer. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of the world!

100 votes from me!

We will We will Rock you. I was luckily enough to see Queen with Freddy and my god he could certainly hold a crowd. The remaining members of Queen still tour but with out Freddy it's just not the same. Someone will tell you who the new lead vocal is.

One of my favourite artists of all times
played a great role in my music education
Andrew, you're right about when they stopped touring
and I believe Freddie learned about his disease in 1989
while laying tracks for "The Miracle"
big vote - no other way

Freddie was a larger than life character of enormous talent. Pop music has not been the same since he went. Great image you lucky dog. Andy

Saw Queen live in Australia when they did their Bohemian Rhapsody Tour back in the mid 70s. Still the best concert I have ever been to and Freddie was a star... a great performer!!! This is a great shot... really capturing his energy. Smile

Thanks everyone. I am so bored with the current music scene. I am sure this man would have changed the charts, had he still been with us.
