Once again Mrs T and I went out over Dartmoor. Rain was forecast and rain came but not enough to spoil the ramble and by the time it came really heavy we were back at the car.

We headed this time over the North Dartmoor to Yes Tor and High Willhays the highest point(s) in the South of England. Our GPS could't differentiate between the heights of either top...............

The views form Yes Tor were spectacular and those clouds told a story that was about to unfold.

High Willhays in the distance was also in cloud.

Yes Tor forms part of the Military Firing Ranges and has a warning flag on the top to tell us when we are not allowed on to the Range Area, obviously not flying today so we were safe.

It also has a Trig Point.

Here's a view back to Yes Tor from High Willhays.

And a shot of the now unused Anti Tank Range just South of Row Tor.

On the return to the car I snapped a shot of West Mill Tor which sits beside Yes Tor.

Finally on the drive home we passed Okehampton Castle and despite the atrocious weather had to stop and take a shot.
