Week 52 of my 52

30 Dec 2012 9:41AM   Views : 522 Unique : 431

This has been an epic challenge for me this year ensuring that I have had at least 1 photo per week that I am content to publish on ePhotozine, this week was no less challenging. We seem to have had a miserable year weather wise which has made the task all that more difficult and once again I found myself chasing breaks in the weather to get the shot, here is the final image for the year, Storm Clouds Gathering;

As always, comments welcome.

Thanks SlowSong, I'd love to have the time for a 365 but often I don't see daylight during the working week (office bound) so shots on days like that would be boring shot fillers. I started the 52 as a challenge to myself to create shots I am "content" for others to see and one a week was a challenge indeed. Some of the ones I look back on have been IMO also rans which if it were not for the challenge might have been resigned to the bin. I have been encouraged over the weeks by the votes the shots have received (thanks to all of you who voted) and today I need to decide what next year's challenge will be. I have over the year bought several new cameras (most of which will be sold next year) my compliment has ranged from Nikon D3 across to Olympus E-410 and several between, I also have had Canon G10 replaced last christmas with the excellent Fuji X10 and laterly have bought the equally excellent Fuji X-Pro1 which is now my "keeper kit" I will also keep the Olympus E-% which I bought this year along with the 12-60 zoom because it is weather proof so I needn't worry about the rain.

Once again to all those who visited my blog, commented or voted on the pictures I give my thanks for the encouragement, watch this space......Wink
