To echo Gemma9's response, I too think that you have captured the colours excellently! Its well composed too!
If I were to offer some constructive criticism, there is a light grey / dark grey border across the top of the background, which I find detracts from the overall image. This could easily be blended smoothly or painted over in Photoshop perhaps?
An inspiring picture in all other respects.Grin

Thanks gman for your comments there taken onboard. i think the light/gark border you see is actuall the promenade road and faintly the sea railings didnt notice it till you saw it.

An excellent Starling shot. The feathers extended at the top of the head makes this stand out.

Overall, a very small amount underexposed, - and I agree re the gray line at the top being an easy improvement. I would just increase exposure a little, sharpen a tad more and crop as in the mod.
