Peacock butterfly

By Tracy_Young
Dragged hubby out for a bug watch yesterday at a nearby reserve. Loads of damsels around but only saw (fleetingly) 1 dragonfly. Loads of Peacock butterflies around though, plus the usual various bees, grasshoppers etc. Made a nice change from chasing them around the garden, (bugs that is, not hubby!)

I was curious about the 'cloning' comments on yesterday's upload and was told by hubby that I had the facility on lightbox, so played around on this picture to get rid of a leaf that was lying across the left hand corner. Quite pleased with the result so may go back to the LTT and try to get rid of that branch.

Thanks for looking and leaving a comments, always appreciated and always taken on board. Have a good one - Tracy

This beautiful specie is said to be on the decline and you are so fortunate to have 'captured' one. Regards.
