Sligachan long exposure

By treblecel
I had to endure a midge swarm of amazing proportions for this. I did have a midge jacket on thankfully, but brought a few hundred dead midgies home in my filter case.
First outing with my new big stopper. Best viewed large.

Some gorgeous colours in this.

Slig was my 1st taste of midgies...stepped out of the tent and started to walk towards the toilet block...took 3 steps and run back into the tent to get the headwear I had bought on the way up!

Marvellous shot, so nicely composed and with the long shutter speed, capturing the river so interestingly. Lovely bit of work.

Great colour and tones with beautiful light. The framing's pretty good too. Bombolini

You have my sympathies where the midgies are concerned. I hate them but they just love me Smile Midge jackets are definitely worth their weight in gold Smile

Midgies just love Lee 10 stoppers, I like what you managed despite the Scottish wildlife. Well done marie.

I'm now itching to get North.
