Quite a sight the whole place is covered in a carpet of snow and you want more, greedy boy. Who knows,it's early in the season to be getting worried.

This snow was the wrong type Dougie. To soft and deep, which made hard walking. Old snow(neve) is best for walking as it is compacted and frozen, which is easy to walk on with crampons.

That lone figure puts the vastness of this frozen desert into perspective. You never really expect to see images like this in Britain. Nice work. Andy

Was on the summit of Buachaille Etive Beag when you took this...What a day it was!

treacherous underfoot I would imagine but the view is well worth it
