Thanks for taking the time to look at my portfolio.

I have been taking photographs for years, a late uncle got me hooked. I cant say I favour any particular style I just like taking photographs whatever they maybe. However wildlife seems to be my main interest, living near the River Stour in Bournemouth gives me quick access to all types of river birds and insects. It's also nice to visit a hide with other EPZ friends and click away at a great variety of birds, putting the world straight at the same timeWink

Oh and I am not a lover of the Like Button and rarely use it, so please don't be offended by my lack of Like responsesSmile

I took early release from BT back in 2004 and became semi retired. I am self employed working on home improvements, fitting kitchens and carpentry. When I am not doing that my spare time is spent refurbishing a 1930's bungalow.

I have been interested in photography since my teens, quite a while ago now, my first camera was a Kodak 127. The first SLR was the good old Zenith E which really got me hooked. I went digital in 1999 with a Nikon Coolpix 950 and have never strayed from Nikon since. My current camera of choice is a Nikon D700 which I adore, it's so flexible due to it's ability to handle noise well at high ISO settings.

It's a typo on my behalf ... should read Niko P7100 and it replaces the P7000 Ann.
