Not a sight to warm the cockles of your heart, however this is a panorama of the River Stour in flood taken from the New Road bridge this afternoon.

Yep about a quarter of a mile.... lucky my bungalow is on a hill..... I think you will be ok Verwood is well above the Avon

The floods are getting worst year by year Trev, great capture, hope you had your wellies on. On late tonight as Broadband went down at 11am this morning and now 9pm it is back on.
Oh dear, one of our favourite areas, let us hope it eases up soon.
