Award Shortlist

Torquay Pavilion

By TrevBatWCC
A bit more digital jiggery-pokery, this time using Polar Coordinates in Photoshop. I've done a few of these 'mini planets' - the hard bit is choosing a suitable subject, one where the right-hand edge is preferably similar to the left-hand edge - especially having the sky the same colour tones at each edge. The better the match, including too where the horizon meets the sky, the easier they are to do. The actual creation only takes 3 actions, the rest is tidying up the join 😃
I uploaded the original image (see version) about a year ago, following my holiday in June to Torquay.

Many thanks to Lillian her User Award on my previous upload, "I think this is the spot" , and also to Diane (Fefe) for her Award on my earlier upload The Grocer's Shop , most appreciated 🏆👍

Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Nik Collection's Viveza 2 and Photoshop Elements 14.
All archive images taken on my 3.2-megapixel compact Nikon Coolpix as Jpegs, and with a bit of tweaking in Photoshop Elements 14!

Thanks again to everyone for your vote & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging 😀👍

Trev 😀

This is brilliant Trev. I've used Polar Coordinates when playing but never in this way.
Top of the class today.

Two excellent images, Trev.
I've had a few pints on that terrace.
Sadly, I think the Pavilion is now closed and boarded up.
